Voltage regulator module using 7805

Most of the TTL ICs are working on 5V. Many methods are there to design a 5V stabilizer circuit. Here, we are introducing a simple DIY board by which even the starters could easily design a 5V regulated voltage supply.

Components required

  • Printed Circuit Board – 1
  • 7805 voltage regulator IC – 1
  • Screw terminal 5mm – 2
  • 0.33 micro Farad capacitor – 1
  • 0.1 micro Farad capacitor – 1

Circuit is done as shown in the following diagram. By replacing 7805 by 7808, we could make 8V regulator module.
